Locals, visitors search for new normal at river that claimed 20

LANGLEY, Ark.—Nearly three months after a flash flood turned the Little Missouri River into a raging wall of water, serenity has reclaimed this Southwest Arkansas landmark.
Dragonflies hover in the humid air over water that remains clear enough to see your hand in.
Visitors taking a quick dip can see the rocks worn smooth by the river’s current. They can watch as the tadpoles brush their fingers and then swim quickly away.
